On May 8-10, 2023, the Ministry of Interior of North Macedonia had the honor to host the 50th European Regional Conference of Interpol, the largest police organization with 195 member states worldwide. At the three-day conference in Ohrid, 140 representatives from 53 countries discussed security risks from various forms of transnational crime, illicit drug and arms trafficking, terrorism, hybrid threats and cybercrime, and the key focus was on strengthening international cooperation with aimed at suppressing the threats of organized crime.

This conference was of the largest scale and at the highest police level that the Ministry of the Interior of North Macedonia has ever had the opportunity to organize. TRIK’s exceptional team, with dedication, expertise, and tireless efforts was part of the organization of this international conference and helped the Ministry to succeed in this aim.

Such events do not tolerate improvisation, everything must be done to perfection, because the chance is given, in this case literally – once in 100 years. We are very satisfied that we helped the Ministry of interior of North Macedonia to be excellent host and that they received all the praise from the General Secretariat of Interpol, as well as from the delegates themselves, most of whom visited North Macedonia for the first time, and expressed their desire to come again, and privately.
